「脇正面（わきしょうめん）」は、舞台を真横から見られる席。演者の前傾した姿勢や、足の前後の動きなどもよく見えます。料金は、正面席よりもややお安め。「橋かがり」が近い席では、装束などを間近で見る事もできますよ。
The “Waki Shōmen” seats allow you to watch the show right from the side. You can clearly see the forward-bent posture of the performers and the back-and-forth movement of their feet. These seats are slightly cheaper than the Shōmen seats (in front of the stage). If you sit close to the hashi-gakari (bridgeway), you will get to observe the performers’ costumes up close.
